We’ve been checking out all your videos from the shows, all over Facebook and Youtube, and we love them. We had our camera on stage in Ottawa and Toronto and have been putting together clips, but we want your footage! If you have any shots from these shows (or other ones if you think they look cool!), send us a message on Facebook and we’ll tell you how to send us the file. We’re going to edit a couple of short live videos Beastie Boys-style, using your footage!

We had a beautiful scenic drive to Thunder Bay yesterday, but OF COURSE I had to go ruin the feeling by getting a speeding ticket! Argghhh…
Thankfully, our friend/guitar tech/part-time tabourine-ist, James offered to take some polar bear-themed pictures of us to brighten my day. Thanks, James!!
Pumped for a great show at Black Pirate’s in Thunder Bay tonight. It’s all-ages and starts at 8pm… if you’re in T-bay come hang out!
We got some Timmy’s in the morning, while Evan went to pick up some Hello Op CDs… After a Kenny Rogers mix up, we made the rounds picking up the guys, then headed north for Cobalt, ON. That drive might rank as the most eventful one on this tour.
One.
We stopped off in Bracebridge, where my brother and his family happen to live. His wife and her side of the family run the local KFC. I gave him a shout and inquired about some potential free chicken. Maybe a bucket? Nope. How about a bucket of chicken, sides, mozza sticks, and FOUR cakes… plus drinks? Yeah, free. Friggen rad. It was the best/worst thing to happen in a while. Delicious/free food seemed awesome at the time, but the KFC aftermath can be left unsaid. Thanks again to the Higgins/Black team for hooking us up. Big thanks to Stricko for eating all the fucking rectangle cakes. Ass-clown.
Two.
There were a few minor delays, detours, pee stops, etc… and we finally got cruising. At some point along the way, we were informed that ‘Take Me Away’, the current Hello Op single, made it to #1 on the Much on Demand ‘Daily 10′! Stoked! We had some celebrations and such, buzzing about the video news, then someone *cough* GM *cough* made a point of enforcing that something bad was bound to happen. Then… Apparently free KFC + #1 video = getting pulled over by the cops. Some lady was pissed after she pulled a dick move with her kids in the car, during a merge situation, so she tried to sick the PO-lice on us. So, after a half-hour (plus) wait as they checked insurance and all of our ID, we were told to watch out for moose on the road and we are on our way again. Late for the show.
Four.
There was a show in Cobalt…? We ate some popcorn, I played a bit of tambourine, and then we packed up and went to the Husky for some eats/found the hotel in New Liskeard. We woke up early and caught the replay of yesterday’s MOD to see the band take the #1 spot. Sweet deals. We have a day-off and we’re staying here for another night. After Andrew, GM and I took a quick tour around today, and it doesn’t look like there is much happening. I think we’re going to the movies tonight.
Friday night was probably the most fun we’ve had at a Toronto show. Pre-sale tickets sold out earlier in the week but we managed to squeeze a bunch more of you in at the door, so the room was packed!! Thanks for coming out, dancing, singing and rocking out with us… we can’t wait for the next one!
Thanks to the people who sent band-aids and kleenex to the stage when Mike cut his finger mid-song!! Here’s a vid someone posted of Mike tending to his wound without missing a note of “Time is Running Out” by Muse, a cover we played that night.
We are sitting in the hotel in Charlottetown, Evan and Gm and doin some sit ups after a heavy heavy breakfest, they both had a muffin.
We know what your thinking, ahh its just a muffin, whats the big deal…but for us
Muffins = Death….. by extraction.
The shows are goin awesome, everyones gettin along, so far. They’ll definitely be a good ol fashion bru-ha-ha in no time, the better question is…who will it be between.
Our video camera is busted and we are enraged, looks like we’ll have to think up somethin good so we can get another one , and not pay for it.
Show number one tonight in Louisdale, NS went awesome.

Especially for those $4.95 for 12 wings at Cusine Acadianne, which were epic by the way!
We kinda got lost on the way outta town, our GPS took us every where but where we actually need to go, stupid gps!
But we made it out and made it to New Glasgow and to our hotel, which is wicked and nicer then most of the hotels we’ve stayed in so far.
And even tho were super tired and drained out, we’ll drink and party till the morning and get to Charlottetown for show # 2 tomorrow!
